Jay & Renee sailed with Dave & Chris Auvil from Panama City to Key West, FL. They left on Saturday, July 25 and got to Key West early Friday morning (I think). It was a long trip (per Renee), since they did not go to any ports along the way. They did see a tiger shark coming toward the boat just after they got back in the boat from swimming - Dave & Chris were still in the water, but got out pretty fast! While they were at Key West, Jay asked Renee if she would marry him - she said Yes! and we are very excited for both of them! Renee flew back to Panama City to pick up her dog and then on to Pensacola to finish packing up for the move to Birmingham! Jay sailed back with the others and got back to Birmingham on Saturday, Aug 8.
