Renee visits from Pensacola

Renee came through B'ham after spending some time with her family in the mountains in Georgia. It was nice to see her (it has been over 10 years). Of course, she look just as pretty as she did when she and Jay went to the Senior Prom!

Playing in the grass!

I took Wyatt outside yesterday to play in the grass. He did not like the grass very much at all - watch this video - it is so funny! Of course, I didn't let him cry for long!

Wyatt in the Diaper Derby

Recently, Wyatt was in his first race! It was held at Brookwood Mall. He won the 2nd place prize - a gift card from Babies 'R Us! He was a little distracted during the race (J.R. & Leesa were on the sidelines cheering him on)!
After the race Wyatt gets a hug from mom!

More Labor Day

Pictures continued~

Labor Day at the Lake

We enjoyed a long Labor Day weekend at the lake. Jay was on call so he couldn't be with us. J.R. and his family came on Sunday and left late Monday afternoon. We had a great time!

Max's First Birthday

Wyatt went to his first birthday party. His buddy, Max, celebrated his first birthday on August 23 (his birthday was August 20). Here are some cute pictures of them playing together! What fun!

Wyatt - 6 months old!

Wyatt is already six 1/2 months old as I write this blog (I've been a little behind)! Anyway, he is just precious. He is crawling around and pulling up on everything - I told him he needs to learn to sit up by himself before he starts walking - ha! He is growing up way too fast! His first tooth is already coming through - so he's been just a little fussy. Here are some 6 months pictures!

Graduation Cruise

In Key West at the beach.

At the southern most point of the U.S.

In the main dining room on formal night.

Off the boat in Mexico!

Leesa and I went on a cruise to Key West & Cozumel for her graduation. We had a great time. We sailed from Ft. Lauderdale on Royal Caribbean's Enchancement of the Seas. We ate a lot and went snorkeling in Mexico to see the sea turtles (I almost chickened out - but made it through the 1 1/2 hour swim!). We arrived back in Ft. Lauderdale just ahead of a hurricane. We had a rough flight home with a short 30 minute delay in Tampa.
